Holland, Michigan, Dec 14, 2009 – There are two more awards earned by TLC which continues its tradition of earning industry recognition for supply chain excellence. First, in November, was the 2009 “Green” Supply Chain Award from Supply and Demand Chain Executive and the second issued just this month was Food Logistics 2009 FL100, recognizing the top technology-oriented supply chain companies.
The 2009 Green Supply Chain Award recognizes companies that are taking steps to realize green or sustainable supply chain objectives within their own operations and/or supply chains, in the areas of Sourcing/Procurement, Fulfillment/Logistics, Operations, Product Lifecycle Management, and other areas of the supply chain. TLC was one of 33 total companies chosen to receive this award.
Food Logistics sixth annual listing of the FL100 is an award that recognizes technology and solution providers that help grocery and food service distributors and manufacturers reach their business goals. This focus for the 2009 award was based on the ability to manage change through tough economic times with technology. The award was determined by Food Logistics’ editorial staff and the winners were featured in the Nov/Dec issue of Food Logistics Magazine as well as on their website.
