Sometimes an operating partner simply cannot execute as promised. When the pain of change is less than the pain of continuing, a customer will require a HOT Conversion (replacing an incumbent for cause).

TLC has assumed multiple facilities mid-contract via our HOT Conversion program. Sometimes these were done with the cooperation of the incumbent, other times the customer and vendor were at extreme odds. In both situations, TLC has solutions to help ensure a smooth transition.

In our experience no customer will make a mid-contract change unless things are going pretty bad. The risks of a botched conversion typically outweigh the problems of a poorly run distribution operation.

Our HOT conversion plans minimize this risk. We have already operationalized the process and the special handling needed for a successful mid-term re-launch. We take the guesswork and risk out of the equation.

Dead of the Night / Stealth Conversion
In one instance our customer requested our conversion teams working in secret. We created stealth teams that executed remote hiring and off-premises conversion planning. On the appointed day we swept in with our new team, retaining as much of hourly staff as possible.

This was an extreme case but highlights what can be accomplished when the situation warrants it.
