Carriers are required to accept shipment tenders and provide status updates electronically via the Internet. Carriers meeting internal selection criteria are also eligible for EDI connectivity. Please inquire with TLC's Carrier Relations Department for further information on EDI set-ups.
Information sent by TLC to our Carrier Partners...
- Shipment Tenders (email)
- Tendered with 1 hour accept / reject window. An 80% acceptance rate is required.
- Contains a complete snap-shot of the shipment including origin and destination information, weight, temperature requirements, the shipment rate, reference numbers, and pickup / deilvery appointments.
- Final Rate Confirmations (email)
- Transmitted after the carrier marks a shipment as "delivered" and contains the final rate / fuel surcharge calculations.

- Actual arrival times (deliveries only) within 12 hours of event either by EDI or Web update.
- Immediate notification of any in-transit delays
- A single, accurate freight invoice
